About Elliot
At my Gambier Island “office”
I Focus On Howe Sound, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, And Downtown Vancouver
I grew up in West Vancouver, so the geography here isn’t abstract to me. As a kid, I was sailing out of West Vancouver Yacht Club and spending time in Howe Sound on my grandfather’s powerboat. As an adult, that turned into a real part of my life — and eventually my work.
I still have close ties to the area through family near Whytecliff Park, frequent trips out of Horseshoe Bay, and my own off-grid recreational place on Gambier Island.
The neighbourhoods and communities I know best include Gambier Island, Keats Island, Whytecliff Park, Gleneagles, Eagle Harbour, Horseshoe Bay, the British Properties, Lions Bay, Downtown Vancouver (where I lived from 2013–2023), and Lower Lonsdale (where I live now). I also spend a lot of time in — and keep a close eye on — the Southern Gulf Islands, the Discovery Islands, Desolation Sound, and Jervis Inlet.
I have offices in Dundarave Village and Yaletown, but most of the year you’ll find me on the road (or on the water). From April to October, I’m often in Howe Sound on showings, scouting, or checking out properties the way a buyer actually would.
If you’re looking outside my core areas, I’m still happy to help. I just want to be honest about where my local knowledge is deepest.
How I work
I’m straightforward, detail-focused, and calm when things get complicated. I’ve been in sales for over 15 years and licensed as a Realtor® since 2016, so I’m comfortable negotiating, staying organized, and communicating clearly when timelines get tight. You’ll get direct answers, steady execution, and someone who does the homework.
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all marketing package. Depending on the property, that can mean strong photography and video, floor plans, print pieces, direct outreach, and targeted online promotion, then adjusting based on what the market is actually doing. The goal is simple: present the property properly, reach the right buyers, and make decisions with good information.
Education & Sales Background
I graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2011 with a B.B.A., specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. The program was practical and business-focused, and it still shows up in how I think about pricing, positioning, and negotiation in real estate.
Before real estate, I spent three years in automotive sales (OpenRoad Mazda in Port Moody, then Morrey Mazda in North Vancouver). From 2011 to 2016, I also ran an independent consulting practice writing business plans and financials for small businesses, which trained me to research markets, pressure-test assumptions, and stay precise with numbers.
As a BC licensee, I also stay current through BCFSA’s mandatory continuing education requirements as part of licence renewal.
